Mission Statement

Disabled Sports/New England is a 501c(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life of individuals with disabilities through outdoor recreation.  We believe that participating in outdoor recreation within a supportive, boundary-free environment endows participants with the opportunity to conquer physical, emotional and cognitive challenges, build self-esteem and confidence; and consequently strengthens the quality of life for participants and their friends and family.  Disabled Sports/New England also aims to educate, train and certify all volunteer coaches and instructors to the highest skill level, to ensure that the activity environment is safe and of the highest quality.
